Dr. Zhu is fellowship trained in Minimum Invasive Surgery and graduated from a prestigious medical school (ranked at the 12th place worldwide based on QS World University Rankings). She obtained a worldwide-recognized FRCSC (Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada) and completed her Obstetrics & Gynecology residency at Royal University Hospital, University of Saskatchewan, Canada. She is a board-certified obstetrician/gynecologist in U.S. Dr. Zhu also obtained an M. Sc. degree in breast cancer research at the University of Saskatchewan, Canada, and has published more than 10 research papers in the areas of cancer diagnosis, treatment and infertility. As the first author, she published one of her studies in a leading international journal in Ob/Gyn field:

Her strong research background allows her to provide a comprehensive care to her patients from the viewpoints of obstetrics/gynecology, pathology, molecular biology, genetics, and cancer diagnosis (breast, ovarian and endometrial cancers). She is a five-star physician in patient satisfaction and a top performer in clinical work in the past 15 years, and received many awards, including 2018 Inductee to the Hero Hall for Excellent Care, 2018 Best Resident Teaching Award (Beaumont Healthcare System), 2014 Oakwood Physicians (OPi) Top Decile Ranking, 2013 Top Performing Physician, 2011 Member of the Leading Physicians of the World, and 2007 Michigan Quality Leadership Award.
